When you welcome your new baby into your arms you are met with the most profound and powerful feelings of love and awe. This perfect, tiny little creature that you made! Their little fingers and toes, the sweet lips and wide curious eyes. even the flakey skin and weird hairy shoulders.
They are so, completely perfect.
Amongst all of this is the most crazy sleep deprivation and before you know it they have grown and changed so much. You will wish so hard that you could freeze those moments and hold onto them forever.
You only get one chance to capture these moments, the first few weeks of your new babies life brings rapid constant changes. That’s why we encourage you to book your newborn photography session with an experienced, specialist newborn photographer.

Newborn photography is a specialised genre of photography and takes years to master. Newborns need expert handling from someone who understands their physiology and emotional needs, who will take the time to patiently settle and comfort your baby into all those sleepy, lovely little poses that create the photos you will treasure forever.
Your investment in newborn photography will only increase in value over time. Think of the cost of your pram or cot or any of the other newborn necessities purchased before baby comes along. These items are used and discarded before your baby is even out of nappies. Do you really think the investment in those items is more valuable than the photos you will hold dear as your baby grows? Of course not!

IMAGE SELECTION
We know you can’t wait to see your photos and we can’t wait to show you! So, same day as the session, straight after your shoot, you get to see all the beautiful images created and build your collection with your favourites. We will work our re-touching magic and you’ll be showing off your gorgeous photos in no time!
SESSION PRICES
All full sessions require a $200 session fee paid up front to secure your booking. This fee covers the time of the session, use of any props, outfits and accessories and the creative talents of the photographer.
You will view and select the images you would like to purchase after the session and create your printed and digital collection.
PRINT AND DIGITAL PRICES
We passionately believe in printing your photos and have a variety of our favourite products available to view in the studio. Since all our clients are unique we prefer to discuss your individual desires for your photography. Contact us below to discuss your needs.

how do i book for a date for a newborn shoot?
Of course, newborns arrive when they are ready and that makes predicting a session date hard! We just take the booking for your due date and then confirm the day of your photo shoot after baby arrives.
When do we come in for our newborn session?
Babies are best photographed in the first two weeks. This is when they are the sleepiest and curliest and of course the teeny tiniest!
What if I've already had my baby?
Please get in touch as soon as you can! We do have babies that are born early or late that sometimes means we can squeeze in a last minute booking.
Do you photograph older babies?
Of course! Most of our baby photos are of babies under 2 weeks of age, but we have had many babies come in at 4-6 weeks due to cultural reasons or finding newborn photography late. While there is a higher chance that babies won’t settle into some ‘newborn’ poses as they are older, we still get gorgeous photos of older newborns.
Do you include photos with siblings and parents?
Yes! Absolutely we encourage it! We are more than happy to include family shots in all sessions except mini sessions. Mini maternity or mini sitter sessions are for one person only.
Do you provide all the props and hats and headbands?
Yes! All the gorgeous bits and pieces you see in our photos are sourced locally and internationally by us. We spend hours finding the perfect props and accessories to make your photographs perfect! If you have a sentimental item you’d like to include, please let us know. We will do our very best to incorporate something meaningful and special.
I'd love to book a maternity shoot but I am nervous about it?
Yep, we understand! Your body is not what it was and that’s the point! We have a stunning collection of gowns and tips and tricks to help you look your best in this incredible moment of your life. When all else fails there is always photoshop! Trust us these photos will be treasured by you and your baby.
Are you immunised?
Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our clients. All staff are fully vaccinated and trained in safe photographic practices. We will always put the wellbeing of our clients first and actively participate in continued training and education.
